Tuccille–Is 2008 the year for the Libertarian Party?
I first learned about the libertarian movement as a teenager in 1973 by picking up “It Usually Begins with Ayn Rand” from the stacks in my local public library in Centreville, Virginia.  The author, Jerome Tuccille, was recently interviewed by Reason TV,  He discusses libertarian icons Ayn Rand and Murray Rothbard.  But in the end, he sees hope for the Libertarian Party finally breaking through with first, Ron Paul’s campaign for the Republican nomination, and now, Bob Barr’s general election campaign as the Libertarian nominee. Tuccille admits to disagreeing the both Paul and Barr on a few issues, but he argues that when you agree with someone 85%, they are a positive movement for change.
